Other Notes: Made several quilts by hand, including two Hawaiian quilts. Began machine piecing and quilting after retired. I designed, pieced and quilted this quilt for my grandson in 2008 when he was 21 years old. He always had a passion for reading, and books were, and still are, his constant companion. I signed it with the Hawaiian term for grandparent, tutu. That is how my grandchildren refer to me as I spent over 30 years in Hawaii. My grandson opted to hang his quilt on the wall - he calls it his other library. The name of the quilt is So Many Books.
Inscription: So Many Books So Little Time created by Tutu for Joshua Parker
