Family thought it was made by Ada C. Terrell because of initials on back: ACT 1884. Ada was 10 in 1884 and it was more likely made by her mother Agnes for Ada. Initials on blocks suggest work of friends; however, workmanship is uniformly good, not the variety usually seen in friendship quilts. Ada married Otis Kendall in 1894.
