According to the Methodist ladies who donated this quilt it was a fundraising project, perhaps to help pay the minister's salary. Apparently each person contributed ($1.00?) to pay for each block. The quilt reminaed in the family of the Hall sisters, who fave it to the church who gave it to the Museum.
