Owner, Kathryn DeLee says, "Great-grandmother Hunter gave it to my mom for a 16th birthday present, and mom passed it on to me when I got my first 'Big Girl' bed. It was used in my room until I left for college, and it has traveled between me and my mother since. It is now with me in Monroe." Batting: raw cotton picked from the field on the plantation.
