Learned to quilt from: I learned to quilt after I married in 1940. We had to quilt for covers to stay warm. Other quilts by the quiltmaker: some given to friends and family Quilting is my hobby. I have made a lot of quilts for family members. The cross-stitched flower quilt will be put on my casket at my death. The money the family would spend on flowers will be given to charity.
