Location of quiltmaker's death: Jonesboro LA Learned to quilt from: Her mother, Amanda Jackson Pyburn Morris many are with her granddaughter, Carol Frances Butler Massey Fanny was a wonderful seamstress and painted for pleasure. She was very knowledgeable about herbs. She attended the Normal College (now NSU) in Natchitoches, Louisiana. She and her mother quilted together when her mother moved in with her.
