Learned to quilt from: from family - mother, aunt and grandmother Other quilts by the quiltmaker: homes of family and friends The quiltmaker started a sewing guild in 2003. Written by her daughter, Jeananne Oldham: Mother will leave a legacy of quilts for many people. The Dresden plates are made from scraps of clothes mother made for me while I was growing up.

Jean Oldham and Vivian Griffin planned, cut out pieces, pieced, mailed blocks to friends and relatives so they could embroider names on it. Then the quilt top was finished and sent to the quilter. The people were from many states. Quilter was Christine Haste. (Arkansas now Pioneer). Vivian Griffin was a teacher born on 11/20/1939 in Oak Grove. She has a master's degree. Her spouse's name is Raymond; he is a farmer/rancher. Her maiden name is Beebe/Ethnicity - French/ 2 children The quilters liked the Dresden Plate design and thought it would work.
