The image is a "photograph" of the New England Quilt Museum, drawn with a marking pen and overlaid on fabric printed as a map. Pen and "photo image" were hand appliquéd, while the car and people images were cut from whole cloth and appliquéd in the broderie perse style. Rosemary Bawn also added pen and ink details.
