Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

Generally as I recall after Mama finished piecing the quilt, several ladies would convene in the dining room and quilt the quilt. Daddy would remove the dining room table top, move the base, set up sawhorses and use two long poles for rolling. The ladies sat across from each other quilting the top and enjoying their snuff.
