Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

The first time I saw a quilt like this was at the World's Fair in Chicago in 1933. It was judged as the best pieced quilt at the exposition. It was auctioned off and sold for $1000. This was a huge sum for a quilt at the time of the depression. It took me four years to fashion the quilt and to put it all together. The quilting was done by a much more skilled quilter than I. She charged one dollar per spool of thread. She used twenty spool of thread.
