This quilt was designed as a way of using the monkey's tails as an abstract design. The leaves in the background are also part of the abstract design. The traditional quilt blocks in the lower half give the design stability. The quilting stitches accentuate the shapes and flow of the design.

My quilts are not traditional and I use non-traditional methods.
