Lizzie Berry of Montrose made this quilt in 1880 of men's vest linings. Given to the Montrose Area Historical Association of Chesaning 1986. The Berry family farm is located on Vienna Road, just east of the bridge and west of the Montrose Cemetary. Heavily embroidered. 30 motifs in blocks including leaves, petunias, seed stitched flower, cat tails.
