Great feeling of accomplishment. Excuse to watch TV. Something I could pick up for a short or long time. Always carry a block with me. Have trunks of materials, whenever I go to shopping I would buy some material , usually calico making quilts relaxes me.

Sometimes floor frame with rollers, sometimes 4 boards with C clamps on pully over bed pulled down to work with sometimes lap. Traditional. Prefers to quilt by hand (machine quilting becomes a 'task'), work block-by-block, and do applique so 'I can change my mind and create as I go along.'
