"Will you kindly give this letter to someone who is interested..." wrote Arthur E. Kellogg of Traverse City, Michigan to the Muskegon city manager in 1968. He wondered if anyone would be interested in a 75 year old quilt made by the Ladies Aid Society of the Wood Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church of Muskegon. Arthur's grandfather, the Reverend E.F. Kellogg, headed the Church in the early 1890s when the quilt was created. Arthur donated the delicately drawn quilt to the Muskego County Museum in memory of his grandfather.
