Describe anything about the design of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

Scrap material was chosen by each woman to work with; cut out by each individual woman using a drafted pattern (made by Marilyn Menghini); each piece of muslin used was precut and distributed to, individual schoolhouses were pieced then given back to the group ladies by who sewed the blocks and sashing together. The quilt was then passed from woman to woman to quilt their own block as they saw fit.
