Describe anything about the design of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:
A photo copy of her sales tag and description are in the FAD file. It reads: Double X Madder red, green, multi $775.00 - 10% ($70) = 700 + 42 (tax) =$742 72"x 83" 188-1900 east-central Indiana, maker unknown. Seven and a half inch blocks in a light/dark combination of prints in indigoes, reds and browns set with a unifying white with red dot are set together on point alternating with a madder red calico and with yellow and black figures. The design area is bordered by a 2 1/2" band of green calico and an outer border 7 1/2" wide of the red calico. The quilt is self-bound front over back in a narrow turn, and the back is navy and white small scale woven gingham. Entirely hand pieced and joined in tiny stitches, hand quilted in 1" parallels through the pattern blocks, and the same parallels reversing directions in the setting blocks. The borders are quilted in 1" echo chevrons. Unused and unwashed, very fresh. Color combination is strongly reminiscent of southeastern Pennsylvania.
