When Caleb was in elementary school (1st-4th grades) every spring during telephone conversations, he would ask if the blue-bellied lizards had come out yet. Inevitable, he would ask his uncle (my husband) to figure out a way to mail him some live lizards (while his mother in the background, was forbidding him to do such a thing). This fabric brought to mind those telephone converstations.
