Essay:

This patchwork has an overall geometric pattern often referred to as a “tile floor” pattern. A yellow-orange color in the satrangi color scheme is dominant. The hand-dyed color is obvious in the reds. Many different shades of red are seen probably due to various dyes and fabric composition. The back of this ralli is an old faded piece of black printed fabric. This style of fabric is often seen in men’s turbans or wraps.
