Raymond, an art history professor and a quiltmaker, is a good friend, who is studying African American quilt history, and we have had many long discussions about the topic. He is making great strides in his studies, and I have great admiration for his work, both academically and personally. I predict he will go far. Raymond made this small "Log Cabin" quilt in the improvisational African American style of construction.
