Essay:

This applique pillow top features two figures, one in brown fabric, representing Cuesta Benberry and the other in beige fabric representing her friend Jean Mitchell, holding a 3" miniature quilt between them. They are pictured standing under the St. Louis "Arch". Above the quilt is a sun with a yellow new moon and ark oval next to it. There is a 1 1/2" wide border. The edge is piped.
