The quilting is of very high quality. There is a feather wreath surrounding the center motif and cross hatching through the remainder of the quilt. The border has a variety of shapes in a scallop design around the border.
Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:
This pink and green appliqué quilt is very common to those patterns produced in the 1920’s and 1930’s. It is very well done with the inner pink border and the outer wider border. The large amount of open white space lends itself to beautiful quilting motifs. The quilting is of very high quality. There is a feather wreath surrounding the center motif and cross hatching through the remainder of the quilt. The border has a variety of shapes in a scallop design around the border.
