The intent of this quilt was to show support and bring comfort to a fellow quilter, a member of the Michigan State University Community Club Quilting Group. The member, who wishes to keep her name low profile, is dealing with breast cancer. The back fabric, a flannel, was intended to be warm, soft and comforting. The hand imprints are acrylic paint. Each member placed her “Caring Hands” onto the block she made.
