I love my garden, the flowers, birds and butterflies. I love to quilt and make my own designs so butterflies are part of my garden.

I worked on blocks of this quilt when my husband was in the hospital for a short (3 or 4 days) stay. The nurses were fascinated by the blocks.

What is the commercial name of the quilting design used for this quilt?
I used the magazine “BIrds & Blooms” to make sure the color and markings on my butterflies were as accurate as possible.
Describe any unique traditions, quilting related customs, beliefs, songs or rhymes used by the quiltmaker:
By trial and errors. I was determined that the whole quilt would be mine - all the work. I do quilt as you go and I do all the quilting on my lap, no frame, no hoops.
