Piece 1: One corner has a 9" Grandmother's Fan block with black fan base and multi color fan blades. The remaining top is crazy style. A variety of embroidery stitches are used. There is a variety of thread weights including 2, 4, 6 strand embroidery thread and pearl cotton. Piece 2: Uses the same fabrics, couching thread in two areas and embroidery.

Further research needed as 7" lace border is the same as used on MRHC0005. Are these two pieces made by Harriet Randall the maker of MRHC0005? Possible same maker. Note pinned to back of unfinished piece says: Miss Hazel Ferguson which suggests she might have been the donor.
