Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

Although it is not indicated on the MRHC inventory card, because it was donated by Phyllis Wong, we believe that the fabric is from the Gossard Factory, Ishpeming, MI. Historian Phyllis Wong researched and honored the "Gossard Girls" in writing and lectures beginning in 2010. Her lecture included several quilts made from Gossard fabric. See attached story on the Gossard Girls.
