Essay:

"I chose to create this quilt as my art quilt because I love to draw in my sketch book, and I decided to use a drawing from my sketchbook to create this quilt. I wanted my quilt to be as close to my drawing as possible. I used fabric, freezer papers, fusible web, Sharpie pen, colored pencils, fabric paint, raw edged applique, and machine quilted."
