Essay:
"Seventeenth-century Italian artist, Andrea Pozzo, was known for his brilliant use of architectural perspective. In 1693 he authored his book, Perspectiva Pictorum et Architectorum, which is an amazing tutorial on drawing in perspective. I have been interested in architectural perspective for years, and it often shows up in my work as a fiber artist. I am fascinated by the illustrations in Pozzo's book and, to honor him, I have done a pen and ink drawing of one of his details."
