Essay:
"Experimenting with many forms of surface design gives an artist the chance and power to create something different than the normal. Aerial Delight combines heavily rusted (cotton wrapped for several months in its vinegar solution) and hand-dyed Pima cotton to create a topographical rendering of what reminds me of Northern California, with its majestic mountains and glorious lakes."
