Designed to convey history of US. Each student selected the design for his or her own square. Carolyn Carpenter, Thedadean Borgard, Shirley Reichstadt, Rebecca Sanders and Donald Bratton provided the inspiration for the project. They had seen the quilts displayed in Johnson Library in Austin, TX.
