As a home economics major I have a strong background in sewing, although I teach strictly foods. Also, my husband and I collect antiques which quilts naturally complement. Successfully creating my first quilt for an old iron bed made me interested in making others. I've made quilts for all the bedrooms in my house in Royal Oak, and now I'm working on quilt for the old log cabin we have as a summer home.
