Biography of the quiltmaker?

"Mother made tied quilts when I was very young, but did not like it." In 1975 I opened a small gift shop of locally hand made items. My husband finished a 9" by 24" end of the garage for this. 3 years later we added on a 14" x 20" room. I went out of business Sept. 1995. My business helped pay our property taxes. I enjoyed it and made a lot of lasting friendships. Isabel joined the Crafty Crew Homemakers in 1985; when working on their annual raffle quilt, they meet at Isabel's home in a 24'x24' craft room with banquet tables to work on. "It has been very rewarding to belong to this group."
