She had wooden frames that she kept up in her living room. She used the frame that sit on the floor with excess rolled at one side. When she moved it to small apartment she used an oval lap frame. Her favorite pattern was Dresden Plate. She subscribed to "Quilt World" and traced many patterns from it. Her favorite color was pink and she used cotton fabric, cotton batting.

She used to say stitches put in on Sunday were taken out by the nose on Monday.
