The following information was supplied by the quiltmaker: If your quilt is based on a traditional pattern or an earlier quilt, what is the name of the pattern? Where did you learn the pattern? "This is my own block pattern used in 2 sizes." How did you choose the materials used in your quilt? "I wanted to contrast warm colors with cool 'icy' colors." How long have you been making quilts? How did you learn to quilt? "Since 1992. Introduced and learned from my sister; also many books." What was your primary reason for entering the Lands' End contest? Do you frequently enter your quilts in competition? "Yes. I am entering many of my quilts in national competition." Has being a winner in the Land's End contest made a difference in your life? Has it changed the way you look at your work as a quilt maker? "The development of my resume of quilt shows and contests has led to acceptance for 2 solo quilt shows and development of myself as a serious quilt artist."
