The following information was supplied by the quiltmaker: Where did you learn the pattern? "It can be found in many quilt books. I don't remember specifically where I first saw it." How did you choose the materials used in your quilt? "It is a so-called 'scrap' quilt using many different print fabrics, which I had in my collection (or 'stash' as we quilters call it)." How long have you been making quilts? "For about 6 years." How did you learn to quilt? "Partly through reading and partly from other quilters." What was your primary reason for entering the Lands' End contest? Do you frequently enter your quilts in competition? "It was on impulse. This was the first quilt I'd ever entered in a competition." Has being a winner in the Land's End contest made a difference in your life? Has it changed the way you look at your work as a quilt maker? "Not really, I quilt because I love it."
