Block pattern is similar to Brackman's #1879 but there is no center square and the squares that make up the "pad" of the paw are constructed by two horizontal pieces of the same length and width.
Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:
The quilt contains a very fine cotton batt and is very thin - probably a summer quilt. Quilting is 8 stitches per inch. It is bound in modern, red bias tape, perhaps to replace a worn edging.
