It had been attached by sewing machine, My mother insisted that it was started by hand and will be finished by hand.The finished top as seen today has been repaired by my mother. Also the addition of white fabric cotton inserts." "My brother my daughter, my grandson have vowed to finish it the way my mother wanted, right to the point of the sheet blankets she has saved for the batting,"
