Describe anything about the history of the quilt that wasn't already recorded in a previous field:

The quilt was made for my grandmother, Amanda Wik Knudson, by the Ladies Aid Society of her church, Zion Lutheran of Deary, ID. Amanda and her family lived on a farm outside of Deary, where they raised cattle, wheat and garden crops. Some time in the late 1920's the farmhouse burned to the ground and the family lost everything. It is a guess that their church women made the quilt for them to make up for the lost household items. My grandmother was an immigrant from Sweden. She met and married another Swedish immigrant, Magnus "Mike" Knudson. They married late in life and had four children with my mother, Elsie being the youngest.
