Two sides of the quilt have a pieced saw tooth border measuring 2.5 in. wide. It is made from scrap print and red solid/plain half-square triangles.

Describe the quilting designs used:
Outline quilting follows the design of the top for pieced blocks. Grid/crosshatch hanging diamonds fill in the red plain/solid squares. Stitching is medium size and even.
Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:
Back has a paisley pinstriped pattern. The points on the saw tooth border have been covered by the applied red binding. The same red solid/plain fabric was used for the plain blocks, border and binding.

Liked to do her own work. When she was having trouble with a design, the quilt maker would dream about a solution. The next day she would have it figured out. May have figured out this unusual pattern in a "dream". Made many quilts.
