The stitches are medium size.

Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:

The quilt has a whole cloth quilt top with floral applique. Binding is red woven tape to match the floral applique motif. 4 floral sprays in a rectangular placement form the center field. A pseudo border created from a trailing floral vine outlines the rectangular center field. All of the applique pieces have small buttonhole embroidery stitches on the edges. The flower centers have embroidered French knots using gold cotton embroidery floss. The veins of the leaves are embroidered with the stem stitch using green cotton embroidery floss.
