The top is constructed from hexagons sewn together side by side and arranged by color and fabric print into floral motifs. Every floral motif is constructed in this sequence: One yellow solid/plain center, a ring of solid/plain, a ring of prints to coordinate with the ring of solids and one outer ring of white solid/plain.
