Inscription 1 "Easy Street On The Lake This quilt was a 2012 mystery quilt by Bonnie Hunter. It was an internet based mystery quilt. Each week for five weeks Bonnie would enter a clue on her blog and instructions for cutting the pieces and sewing. My quilt top did not get finished in the five weeks but was finished in February 2013. The pieced back and binding were finished in March 2013. Bonnie's quilt name was "Easy Street". I added "On The Lake" because most of my quilt was pieced while at our Lake Michigan home in Cleveland, WI, USA. Machine pieced by Donna Karolus of Cleveland, WI. and Spring Grove, IL. 100% cotton fabric, batting and thread. Machine quilted by Joni Baumli of Threadplay. This quilt contains 2,645 pieces. Quilt top-2,433 pieces Quilt back-208 pieces Binding-4 pieces" Inscription 2 Quilt Title, Name, address and telephone number. Inscription 3 AQS Label: "30th Anniversary Celebration! PROUDLY juried, judged and exhibited at AQS QUILT WeeK GRAND RAPIDS, MI August 20-23 2014

The quilt top is made from 2,433 pieces and the art quilt back is made from 208 pieces. It is not a true block to block quilt. The top is constructed with interlocking patterns that are inspired by B.Brackman #2891, Dominoes & Squares and #2830, Variable Star. Novelty fabric images include; musical notes, shoes, snow flakes and interlocking links.

A November 2012 free Mystery Quilt designed by Bonnie Wilkinson Hunter at Quiltville.com. One set of instructions was released weekly for 7-8 weeks. Donna did not use all of the colors suggested by the designer. She only used the gray, black and white.
