Applique patches are shadow outline quilted. The outer edge of the Dresden Plate motifs are outline quilted. The center of every Dresden Plate has quilted grid cross/hatch squares. An egg and dart cable is quilted in the outer border. A floral motif made from double parallel lines is quilted where the blocks intersect. The stitches are described as medium size and even.
