The floral applique designs are surrounded by hand quilted feathering in a cable pattern. The center of the quilt is filled in with single diagonal parallel lines. A floral pattern similar to the applique designs is used in the scalloped border on the outer edge. The patches are outline quilted. The stitching is described as medium size and even. Knots can be seen on the back.

The bias binding is white. Stem stitch embroidery has been used for stems, leaf veins, and details on the blossoms.
