The patches are shadow outline quilted following the design of the top. The stitching is described as medium size and even.

Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:

Every floral motif has a yellow center surrounded by a row of solid/plain brights. The brights are surrounded by a row of coordinating floral prints. Every motif is completed with a row of white solid/plain hexagons, which form a path when laid side by side. The floral prints are fussy cut.
