Describe the quilting designs used:
Every solid pink block has been outline quilted in the ditch. In addition they have a floral motif quilted in the center. The embroidered white blocks have overlapping circles quilted in the background. Single diagonal parallel lines are quilted on the wide pink outer border. The stitches are described as medium size and even.
Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:
The floral/ribbon wreath embroidery pattern is stitched with shades of pink floss. The design is flipped over to point in the opposite direction in some cases. Satin stitch, french knots, straight stitch and lazy-daisy stitches were used. The quality of the embroidery is described as excellent.

The owner received the quilt from her mother. It is not known whether the owner's grandmother or great-grandmother made the quilt. Both women were milliners. Flora Ott Dreyer is the name of the owner's grandmother. She was approximately 30 years of age when the quilt was made. The quilt was probably made for the owner's mother because she was the only daughter in the family.
