Quilt was pieced during the 1930's when Mrs. Riley was approximately 30 years of age. The quilt was quilted in 1986 by an unknown Amish quilter from Pennsylvania.

All of the blades in the Dresden Plate design are outline quilted. The blocks are outline quilted in-the-ditch. An arc is quilted in the corner of every block. The arcs form a square with curved sides where four blocks meet. The stitching was described as excellent.

Features or notes about the quilt's appearance, materials, or construction:

Every Dresden Plate motif has a yellow center and sixteen blades that alternate between print and solid/plain fabric. Mrs. Riley called the block, "The Daisy".
