Rectangular crazy quilt made up of 12 blocks (three horizontal times four vertical).Each block is composed of irregular multicolor pieces of silk, satin, velvet and cotton pieced together in a random arrangement. A variety of embroidered motifs are scattered about the quilt.There are some areas on the quilt that are printed in ink and not embroidered. It is possible these sections were pre-printed for outline embroidery. The quilt features a variety of decorative embroidery stitches.
