QuiltHistF059
The design of the maze is based on a mosiac floor, since destroyed, at Amiens Cathedral in France. Margaret Cabell [1785-1863] married Thomas S. McClelland in 1820. The quilt descended to Mary Carter Nininger, Great granddaughter of Mary Cabell. Mary Nininger gave the quilt to Donor Margaret Gillespie Willis.
