Quilt was made by owner's great-great aunt. The quiltmaker lived to be over 100 years old. She was a maiden aunt, never married, but raised the owner's grandfather. Quilt was made for the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair, and supposedly won a first or second prize as an entry in the 1933 Century of Progress exhibit.
