Quiltmaker did not have any children. Quilt was given to quiltmaker's brother, who lived in Rhode Island. It was then given to their daughter Flora Stanton, who passed the quilt to her daughter, Esther Gray Perkins, who then passed the quilt to her daughter Cynthia Stanton Zeller, who is the mother of the current owner's husband.
